The Eyre Hotel is a historic hotel centrally located on Playford Avenue. We are the first hotel you see when you enter from Port Augusta, and five minutes’ drive to the Whyalla foreshore.
Serving the community for over 60 years, the Eyre Hotel is a hotel packed with personality where families, mates, work colleagues and tourists are welcome to relax over pub classics watching their favourite team in the front bar or simply take their time grazing on our locally inspired menu in our spacious family bistro. In the warmer months many flock outside to enjoy the weather in our award winning beer garden, deck and private booths.
Since undergoing an extensive renovation, our distinctive spaces and hotel accommodation have a touch of luxury, a dash of nostalgia with a local industrial twist owing to the city’s rich steel history.
We have actively created a space of welcome and community that champions local producers - whether it be early morning breakfast, coffee, lunch or dinner – every dish pays homage to home-grown heroes mostly sourced from the Eyre Peninsula region, whilst providing a relaxed place to connect and engage over a vast selection of brews, wines and spirits.
